Essential Blocks for Gutenberg plugin allows you to upload unfiltered files to your WordPress website, including SVG, JSON, EXE, and more. To enable unfiltered file uploads, go to ‘Settings’ from Essential Blocks dashboard, then toggle to enable ‘Unfiltered File Uploads.’ That’s it. You can now seamlessly upload SVG or JSON files from the Gutenberg editor using image-supported blocks like Accordion, Filterable Gallery, Advanced Image, and others.
Note: Uploading unfiltered files (SVG & JSON) can pose security risks. Essential Blocks will attempt to sanitize these files to remove potentially harmful code. You should only enable this option if you know the associated risks.
